The IEEE R8 Students & Young Professionals Congress, or simply R8 SYP Congress, is one of the most famous and important events in Region 8. It is held every 2 years and brings together students and young professionals in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) from all sections in Region 8. It is an excellent opportunity for IEEE members to network and develop their technical and cross-disciplinary skills.
During the Congress, a wide variety of workshops and conferences are organized, dealing with exciting and up-to-the-minute technical subjects. At the same time, the conference offers training workshops on soft skills, essential for teamwork.
