It is well known that through the last three years of establishment the IRAQ Section, the Majority of the student’s members belong to University of Babylon, especially in Computer Science Department. At the end of the first quarter of this year about 25 postgraduate students were signed for the petition of forming the Computer Society student Chapter.
The Section enhanced the students in most of the activities hold at Iraqi universities, such as:
- For the First Time the Section celebrated the nomination of the best students in Computer Technology College.
- Nomination of Special Track (for the last year Projects) in the First Scientific Conference Hold with Babylon University.
- Holding many scientific workshops for students in most of Iraqi Universities..
- Nomination of 17 Students to participate in the Students Congress hold at Texas A&M in Qatar in March 2011
- Celebrate the Nomination of the best students in the Computer Science Institute (CSI) – Sulimanya Technical Foundation. In 8-9 May 2011
