On October 15th 2022, during IEEE R8 Committee Meeting in Cairo, Egypt, Dr. Maria-Alexandra Paun, Chair of R8 WIE Committee, presented the activities of her amazing team for the promotion of women in engineering at Region 8 level.
As she 
finishes her term at the end of the year, the take-away message and key word of two-year activity of R8 WIE team is the visibility we gained as speakers at various international and R8 flagship IEEE conferences. We emphasize the importance of being technical speakers and have such interventions, on top of our other current activities.
